These past couple of weeks have been really tugging at my heart, tugging at the part of my heart that doubts God’s power. Through His power, I have been recently blessed with being accepted to intern with Mission Discovery in the Bahamas this summer. The doubt generates from the fear of not being able to provide for the people of the Bahamas because of my low financial support. I also feel the need to be there and help the Haitian refugees, especially with the Haiti earthquake that just occurred. The doubt of God’s abilities & power are two things I’ve always struggled with, and I’m sure many Christians do too. But why do I doubt, when clearly He has already decided my destiny. So…
I prayed. I never actually thought my prayers would ever be answered. But the power of prayer, is—is unexplainable. It’s amazing. I prayed for the Bahamas and I prayed for support. And I received. Not only did I receive, I received quickly. It was just two nights ago I asked, to trust fully that He will provide for His work—and that He did.
Today I received my first contribution of support for the Bahamas Mission Trip.
So, today-today is a new beginning.
