Through our generation’s passion for justice & crazy annoying advertising on Facebook, Twitter, blogging, instant messaging, Youtube, Vimeo, e-mails, celebrities, Invisible Children, a non-profit grassroots organization out of San Diego, California won Chase Banks $1,000,000 dollar giveaway! Invisible Children stands for RESCUING of the abducted child soldiers that are being help captive by the LRA’s Joseph Kony (Rebel Leader) in N. Uganda whom fight & kill the innocent lives of N. Uganda’s people. With the $1,000,000 Invisible Children will build schools & provide education, install clean water wells & filters, and RESCUE Joseph Kony’s child soldiers.
With the recent devastation Haiti has experienced with the earthquake, Invisible Children is dedicated to donating $100,000 dollars to the relief efforts in Port-au-Prince.

These past couple of weeks have been really tugging at my heart, tugging at the part of my heart that doubts God’s power. Through His power, I have been recently blessed with being accepted to intern with Mission Discovery in the Bahamas this summer. The doubt generates from the fear of not being able to provide for the people of the Bahamas because of my low financial support. I also feel the need to be there and help the Haitian refugees, especially with the Haiti earthquake that just occurred. The doubt of God’s abilities & power are two things I’ve always struggled with, and I’m sure many Christians do too. But why do I doubt, when clearly He has already decided my destiny. So…

I prayed. I never actually thought my prayers would ever be answered. But the power of prayer, is—is unexplainable. It’s amazing. I prayed for the Bahamas and I prayed for support. And I received. Not only did I receive, I received quickly. It was just two nights ago I asked, to trust fully that He will provide for His work—and that He did.
Today I received my first contribution of support for the Bahamas Mission Trip.
So, today-today is a new beginning.
